VEDIC ART CONTINUATION COURSE, Further deepening of Principle 1-17 in English

This course runs parallel to the Vedic Art foundation course on Thursdays. The first 90 minutes are held with the foundation course participants present, and the deepening section for about 30 minutes is held for the continuation course participants alone.

Every Thursday from 7th September for 15 weeks.

10 am-12 pm CET

Investment: 3500 SEK

See the price in your currency here.

The continuation course is a chance to deepen your experience and understanding of the Vedic Art principles when you get them for the second time together with the extra poems that Curt Källman wrote for each principle. This course will help you keep your painting practice alive in everyday life and support you to implement the principles into your creative process further.

Hearing and experiencing the principles for the second time means that you will receive new aspects of their wisdom and they will open up your creative process more. The Vedic Art method is a nonlinear journey because we focus on creating from the right brain half, so as we continue to expose ourselves to the wisdom of the various principles, our lives and creativity keep on being enriched. Each time we hear a principle, we hear new things that help us grow and expand in all areas.

It is not uncommon for those who paint with the Vedic Art method to do the continuation course each year for 10-15 years, and I have done it about 20 times for different teachers and always gained new insights to take with me into my artistic creativity by giving myself this gift.

The structure of the classes:

The classes are held via the Zoom meeting platform for 15 weeks on Thursdays, the first lesson being Thursday 7th September. Each session is about two hours long.

The lessons will be held together with a beginners group and we will go through the principles one by one. As the foundation courses participants paint the principle of the day, you engage in your own painting practice and you can choose to work on the same principle if it inspires you, or just work on your own painting more generally (which includes all principles). After reviewing and reflecting on the principle of the day with the foundation group, you can listen and continue to paint, which gives you more time to paint in the duration of the class. After about 90 minutes when the foundation group leaves the meeting, the continuation group stays on for about another 30 minutes, and then receive the additional poems that Curt Källman has provided for each principle. After that there is space for reflections from everyone in the group and time to share about specific thoughts around the creative process of each participant with feedback and support from the course leader.
